That neither proves or disproves the allegations, but it extremely suspicious. Which is why we need to have this fact checked by a real journalist, and not just based on assertions by the likes of James Harding and Rachel Johnson.

Tortoise Media was founded by a guy that was an editor at Rupert Murdoch's Times of London. The author of the article is Boris Johnson's sister. Although the 2022 incident happened in NZ, it was reported in a British outlet on the eve of an election in the UK.

And the 'podcasts' (the only place with actual primary source facts, allegedly) are only available on the Tortoise app, which conveniently drives their metrics up and gets their app on your device, and makes it harder to fact-check. Why not publish the details publicly?

The article is not written to any particular high journalistic standard. It feels like something that's targeted to go viral among people that are appalled by such behavior. Everyone is repeating the 'Neil said this in response' bit with absolutely no 2nd hand confirmation.

It's not directly targeted at him, it's to demoralize people like you who would otherwise be liberal/labour voters. It sure reads like something calibrated to provoke disgust, and it's timing is extremely suspect.

I think this is an attempt to keep Neil off of social media fro 48 hrs and we are going to find out in a few days that it's all bullshit, but by then everyone will have forgotten. If it's legitimate, let's hear from some other outlet that has confirmed any of this, then we react.

We need to hear it from a 2nd source before losing our minds. It's extremely suspicious that an outlet started by a guy that worked for Rupert Murdoch created a media site, made a podcast, and got Boris Johnson's sister to make an article about that podcast at this exact moment. wtf?

That article was written by Boris Johnson's sister on the eve of an English election by a Tory media outlet with no corroborating evidence and no public statements by either of the women mentioned, nor from Neil. None of this has been substantiated by any other outlet. It stinks like BS.
