As someone with secondary POTS, I am secretly a bit overjoyed about this prospect. It would be amazing if I didn't have to sit and clock my pulse rate to make sure I won't pass out in the shower

Oh fuck me, IMDb just updated the Cast & Crew listing to make it 900% less readable and so only a few names display per page so it's impossible to skim quickly. Great layout for all the toddlers using IMDb though so it's got that going for it

Some of the autoimmune diseases get treated with chemo too, though at a lower dose. It's not fun. And cancer is definitely a very bad thing to get

And, indeed, for most autoimmune conditions, we don't have cures, only treatments, some more effective than others (and some of us have fun bodies that manage to stop responding to treatments in short order)

I suspect we will find that what long covid really is is post-viral autoimmune triggering. I know my RA & SLE got engaged after a bout of nasty flu back in the 90s, and I have many of the things LC sufferers are dealing with (including a bunch of secondary autoimmune shit)

Well, let me couch that with: someday there may be "a" cure but that will mean we've solved most diseases

There are cures for some cancers, and treatments for others that last a very long time, but there's never going to be "a" cure for cancer because it's an umbrella term like arthritis

They've been floating a lot of things that turn out to be blatant lies. Do not trust any of these anonymously sourced stories, 99% of them are bullshit, and so are the other 1%. I've blocked so many "journalists" in the past week

Before my stupid brain malfunction, my bf and I would go around to all the various fireworks displays in a 20+ mile radius from about June 28 to July 14. He also had a line on Class B fireworks and did a big show at his house, plus we helped with our town display. Now I get a migraine, sigh

My first college musical, HMS Pinafore, and the designer had this as a base color for all the faux wood decking. We did indeed call it baby poo. Also our ancient tech director insisted on using hide paint which we mixed from scratch, color and hide glue, and it stank like poo by closing
