It's weird how moving 1500 miles to a place I've never been before was one of the few parts of this relationship I DON'T regret. On the plus side, gender transition is a perfect time to rebuild my shit. I guess? Don't mind me, just coming to terms with having coasted emptily for far too long

Change accelerates change. Had my divorce not happened and my depression not spiraled, I may have continued coasting, doing my best impression of a cis dude forever, on the cusp of miserable but not far enough in to take action. Honestly, it’s always easier to retool without legacy expectations.
