It sucks that that's how it is, but it's the way we had to play to get healthcare reform that means you can't be dropped by your company for having cancer. A future where Israel's apartheid is remembered the same way South Africa's is can happen with democrats. Not with republicans.

Here in the UK Labour's stance on Gaza is... well, shit. *But* they also included in their manifesto this election that their stance is that Palestine must be recognised as an independent state which is better than the Tory stance of "if we ignore the problem it'll go away"
