YES! The other issue is that lets say you've never heard that phrase before okay...embrace it! what could it mean? this is where poetry collides with prose fiction. This is the beauty of shades of meaning here.

I theorize that 1. more people should read poetry and 2. more English monoglots should spend a lot of time studying other languages to practice being comfortable being confused and tucking away things you don't understand to examine more carefully later.
