*Not all victims replicate patterns of their abuser. Not all victims seek those relationships later. However both are common situations. Especially the second. If your parent abused you then you're more likely to be abused in a marriage. This is due to a trauma bond with "comfortable" abuse.

Fun fact: Most abusers were once abused. (Never an excuse, just an explanation.) His reason for writing about SA could've been a past experience. His reason for the inexcusable abuse he committed could be linked to prior PTSD as some victims replicate their abuser/seek out similar abuse.* (1/2)

--Trans people are excluded from. The rest such as healthcare (regardless of price) safe bathroom access etc are rights that specifically trans (and other minority groups) have poor/limited access to. Housing though is a world wide issue even for the most privileged cishets looking to move.

PTSD is the main thing causing people to have firework issues. Autism too but most autistic people still enjoy it and will rush to see it. Dogs can also have mental issues causeing overstimulation. Their ears are better so it's like "Autistic Super Hearing" but even better/worse.

I turn my back on this species for dogs because even the "good ones" have the capacity to be vile. Dogs are the purest fucking creatures. They do not age past a mental age of 3. And YES they do experience PTSD. I was mad about the invalidation even if I didn't immediately bring it up while angry.

Their sentence was saying that "poor dogs" is a better PSA than "you have actual human neighbors with severe mental health issues". Which implies we should be less empathetic towards dogs. It also implies that only humans can have PTSD and dogs are just "spooked".

We suspect he was HEAVILY abused as a puppy, especially since he gets stressed around shoes and attacks shoes rather than anything else. Most dogs are trusting but not Poochie. He's open to it but it's the same as trying to talk to an abused child. You have to go slow over many visits.

You clearly don't know much about animals. Especially dogs. They'll refuse to sleep for days. It's not "5 minutes". A dog I used to have would refuse to eat for a week after fireworks. Dogs can have PTSD too that affects their entire lives. My friend has a dog who exhibits PTSD symptoms.
