The original banner of proto-England was a white (sometimes gold) dragon. Unfortunately, there have been occasional moves by facist/racist groups to adopt this.

Not often used but the Jack is only used for nautical flags, it's supposed to be called Flag on land.

Nah. Bin the Union Jack and have independence all round 🏴🏴🏴 - and pref all of us 🇪🇺 and as an inner union within it, benelux style. It's time "British" became a word like "Scandinavian". The UK is not a proper union - its fragile imperial ego wd be crushed by the Welsh dragon.

just signifies Wales's absorption into England, its first colonial project (before Ireland). It has no legal autonomy to speak of, as laws are those of England and Wales, whilst Scotland's system is quite different.
