That was my experience of testosterone libido too. I wonder if the uncomfortableness was dysphoria. I sure as hell don’t miss it. But I’d love some oestrogen libido to replace it. It doesn’t matter how mind blowing the orgasms are if I’m not motivated to get that far :/

I think this is the same as what I experienced - before my egg cracked I had no internal sense of self, so I relied entirely on external feedback for my sense of self, hence massive dysphoria from any kind of rejection. Happy to close the door on that chapter of my life!

Same - I experimentally went off my T blocker for a week (at the doctor’s suggestion) and it was like falling into a black pit of dysphoria. I will not be doing that ever again and I will be firmly instructing my doctor to add a big-ass warning before giving that advice to anyone else.

I too have always struggled with hot weather. But a couple of years ago I moved to Tasmania where the temperature was _perfect_ for pre-transition me. And I started transitioning 3 months ago, so it’s been getting steadily colder as I’ve gotten less and less resilient to the cold 😅

Damn - I hope your friend recovered okay. As a kid I was sad we weren’t allowed to play with fireworks anymore, but as a parent, I look back fondly on a time when government responded to risk of public harm by regulating industries.
