Armchair dementia diagnosers? I understand. Maybe it's professional blinders on my part here (like I suggested for others in the Nuzzi case). But you can't be unhappy if people want to use the term of art rather than the colloquial definition you prefer. Or I might have to just get over this one.

And Gaiman? That's the one I should probably sit out until further info. I really want it to be untrue. But that's a dangerous path. If the bigots were accurate about his response, then fuck him. If they were lying & he gives a more plausible & less damning one? Seems unlikely. But I'd listen.
