I taught adults and did lots of conference presentations. When I've watched tapes of my performances, I always cringe due to how awkward I look. I was sometimes reluctant to include links to them on my CV due to appearing unpolished.

[CSA/CSAM] The main recommended book for students to learn how to interpret electrocardiograms was written by a man who served jail time for having extensive CSAM and committing actual CSA as well. It was a big fight to try to get medical educators to recommend one of the very good alternatives.

It's a bit of a thread hijack (and I'm very much in agreement with your thread), but there are people doing stories within the mythos he created and some of them are really good and acknowledge the harm he did. Ruthanna Emrys is one of them. The Innsmouth Legacy series was strong.

I've been out of work for a few years (COVID wasn't fun). Maybe I should start up a service where I diagnose dementia remotely without a history and physical. Because that's apparently a thing we do now. I wasted some training time learning how to do it the old way.

Well, he insisted that one of the two women who accused him of sexual assault was having false memories. He asserted that in the case of his employee, >40 years younger than him, it was simply a consensual sexual relationship that started hours after meeting her and that she is lying about.
