My childhood school district has replaced their old middle and high schools with lovely new buildings. Former classmates are sharing the photos of the demolition with nostalgic "remember all the good times?" captions That was, um, not my experience haha. I would've helped the demolition for free

Good times? In middle and high school? Absolutely not! I am somewhat sad that they're planning on demolishing my old high school but that's because I thought the architecture was neat

I had mixed experiences- some good, some bad. I’m certainly not nostalgic and thinking that was the best time of my life. I find that life is better after 40.
