Yeah it's normal to feel betrayed by someone when you admire their work. It's normal to scramble to fit this new info into your understanding of them. It's normal to hope there's a mistake.
But these are things you can work out privately rather than in a public forum where survivors see your words.

We don't *have to* process publicly. We don't *have to* comment. And remember that the other side of "I hope it's not true"--when it's something that involves a police complaint and victims detailing their experiences--is "I hope the victim is lying" and that's....uh, not a great look.
