Should add some context, I only recently learned back in 2022 that I was Asexual, but a deeply romantic person, so this kind of stuff was incredibly soothing, but could’ve been disastrous for me if I fell into that “talking to me specifically” mindset. Kinda like drugs, if that makes sense.

To further elaborate on that “like drugs” part, I mean it can make you feel like you’re on top of the world if you feel like you’ve no one else, but it can also be incredibly addictive and harmful too. So practicing moderation, or in this case realizing it as nothing more than fantasy, is needed.
