Oh, exactly! I do understand that..💞 You know, I still say FB is my fave place to be. I actually KNOW many of the people I interact with, and that's nice. Some go as far back as elementary school! New friends too, of course, but I like it a lot. I DO like it here, too, tho, for sure! 👍😊♥️

I'm so glad I don't live in the States. We certainly have our warts & bumps here (biggest wart currently, being PP), but honestly! There's lots to love about the U.S., for sure, but man, the wrong folks seem to have the mics, these past years. If it wasn't so disgusting, it would be funny.

It's great that clearly, they are SO fond & proud of each other. I think folks should stop panicking & maybe realize that he had a nasty cold, glazed eyes, husky voice, & possibly a mild fever on the 27th! 🤨 Next day, he felt much better, but still had a bad cough. Eyes more clear, clearer voice. 👍

Agreed. I admit, I'm not crazy about consistent and nothing but 'reposts' by others. I feel like it's like you don't get to see the personality of the other person. It feels unbalanced and unfair, to me. To each his/her own, though. 😊

Of course, none of that was discussed with the gr. 4's I taught, way back when... (early 70's) --- I had no idea of their home life. I don't believe the family ever came to parent/teacher conferences.. actually, can't remember. Beautiful kids, tho.

I wonder if the JW's of today are more outspoken than the children I taught in 1971/72.....? There was never, ever an issue, during that year. I know, a good part of the world has definitely become louder... yikes. Belligerent, not bright, and very, very loud. Sigh.

Early days of teaching, our school had a family of 4 kids, who were JW. Nicest folks! No pushing of their beliefs, polite kids, smiley, hard-working, smart. Just not involved in Christmas concerts & other events. Never intrusive. I do answer the door tho, & immediately smile & say 'no thanks.' 😊
