The “how do we explain this to the kids” thing is honestly kinda funny to me, because kids have a really easy time understanding it. It’s literally just “hey, Timmy. I used to be a boy, but now I’m a girl, so I’d like if you called me a girl” and Timmy says “Ok can I have ice cream” or something
