I'm older; my brothers are older yet. We've found that there's a point where you begin to feel like you've hit a wall. you can still do absolutely everything—easily & for extended periods. you just need more recovery time afterwards. what I hate most about all of this is the shaming, the ridicule.

as if old age isn't normal, as if it's something to be embarrassed by. like a competent person would avoid all that. it's like agism on steroids. as if we want old people to just go sit down & shut up & die already. like it's the last permissible prejudice. along with our ridicule of fat people.
