Grooming was the term for the beginning of a CSA relationship but it's gotten coopted and no longer is useful. So yes, I'd love a different term for either that or adult to adult coercion and manipulation. There is definitely a language gap here.

I think there are a whole bunch of these shitty manipulative behaviours across power gaps that all rhyme with each other but we don't have the language for yet. So when people who HAVE been groomed as children say "it was still grooming when I was an adult" we should respect that. Find new words.
