As a kid who wanted to be a sportswriter, I watched every Roy Firestone interview I could find. As an adult who covered the Orioles, I found myself brought into his orbit (because he’s a huge Orioles fan.) It means the world to be held in high esteem by people you admire. That never goes away.

Some big life news happened yesterday … I accepted a writing position with the Water Education Foundation and will be moving to Sacramento, CA in three weeks. I loved covering art and living in Santa Fe but $$$ were tight and I had to do something to better myself in the near and long term.
