Yes. This. Between the heresy of the Prosperity Gospel, the asininity of Effective Altruism, Austrian Economics and the Chicago School, and the garbage that is Ayn Rand and Objectivism, there are way too many mental systems to justify grifting and enshittification, and not nearly enough taxation.

Also, tech bros tend to be misogynistic af. I've seen some get off to the thought of AI art making their stereotype of blue-haired feminist artists obsolete so that they're forced to either get "real jobs" or submit to men to survive. So, contempt for people/things they can't control, too.
