Not a fan of this 24°C weather tbh. Trying to concentrate on this task I need to do but unfortunately brain goes into power saver mode as soon as the temperature rises past 18°C. Not ideal tbh.

Not knowing what to have for dinner even though there are plenty of options to choose from out of the food already in the house yet none of it feels right. (Cont get takeaway because that's the plan for tomorrow's dinner, as a treat)

My mum came to Dublin for a visit so we're staying at a rather nice hotel except it's 2am and neither of us can sleep because the room is way too warm.

I never really thought much about big screen used for doing big things like booking holidays/flights/accommodation, accessing paycheck etc and mobile used for all other stuff like social media, quick search etc until recently the topic came up and it has changed the way I do things!! 😨

The one thing I will say is the flipping birds here make human noises! This morning as I walked from the train station I heard some demon-like screaming coming from a tree. It was a crow. Then later on I passed a pack of pigeons eating crumbs and grumbling like old men. Only in this city!

Now that I'm only doing one night in Trier, Germany I totally regret not coming here for 2 nights and doing one night in Luxembourg instead. Sure Luxembourg was nice and I had plenty of things to see and do but I do feel Trier is more my vibe. Plus I got to the Karl Marx museum which was really good

Trying to complete this task I need to do at work and I'd rather swing from the rafters (saying this as someone with virtually no upper body strength) than look at it for another minute. It doesn't help that I have been procrastinating for ages with this either 🙄

I made way too much sushi last night. I mean so much that it was dinner last night, lunch today and there's plenty left for another 2 meals but I can't look at it anymore 🤢 (it's tasty but I have my limits)

Entering week 3 without wifi in this house. Technician was just out and said it's actually a fault in the connection in the road and is a bigger issue than we assumed. Can't keep hotspotting like this forever because not only is it expensive but my phone is getting a serious beating from it!

Level of sleep deprivation: I'm in the office today and went out for a coffee at break. There's a fountain outside my workplace and as I walked by I saw a guy reaching in with a net thinking what sort of fish was he trying to catch. Reader, he was cleaning the fountain 🙈😭

Why does our (rather expensive) internet company keep promising they will give us service but never actually do? I've been hot spotting for over a week which is actually quite draining on both my phone's battery and my credit (I get 20gb allowance pm whenever I top up) 😭

Taking my housemate dress shopping for her Christmas party at the weekend but stopped off in nandos beforehand for a bite as she's never been. She enjoyed it and I enjoyed devouring my half rotisserie chicken as I am absolutely wrecked from 8 hours of stress I endured in Stansted airport yesterday.

Finally got around to eating in a restaurant that was on my mother's 'to visit' list for months. Absolutely delicious with massive portions. Price reasonable too. Pity it's such a trek out of the way from where she lives though.

These riots have absolutely nothing to do with immigrants and 'protection of women and children' but a way for the vile scum to justify extreme racism and destroy a city by looting and trying to burn it to the ground. I hope all that has to travel leaving work will be safe ❤️
