Not to mention, it stands to reason Plagueis had to have learned the ability to create life from SOMEWHERE. Maybe he stole it from the witches and took credit? I doubt they just taught him such an ability willingly. Maybe he learned it on his own, but regardless the ability already existed.

So why do people think Mae and Osha in the Acolyte conflict with the chosen one prophecy? It clearly doesn't. Anakin was willed into existence by the universe itself and the twins were Plagueis'd. Two different types of Force conception, both already established in both canon and legends.

It also had a constant supply of oxygen from the ship. Regardless, Star Wars also has sound in space and ships that "sink" in space after getting destroyed. Trying to apply real world physics and science to the science fantasy genre, especially Star Wars, is typically a fool's errand.

The fire in space actually isnt a con. From my memory, most Star Wars projects show a ship on fire in space. The Clone Wars had a bunch of that and Revenge of the Sith opened with ships on fire in space.

Like at least TLJ showed why Luke was the way he was, even if it was a little jank and needed more buildup. I dont remember Ahsoka ever conveying the events that led up to her becoming kinda jaded other than her near death experience of "Hey you know what, being alive is actually pretty nice"

I wouldnt even mind Ahsoka's characterization in the Mandoverse if it actually explored WHY Ahsoka is that way vs how we last saw her in Rebels. But they don't. They TALK about how she had a falling out with Sabine once upon a time, which might have a role in why shes bland now, but they never show.

They can also lower their own force signature and, if theyre extreme enough about wanting to be off the force grid, they can cut themselves off from the Force and essentially become non-sensitive until they want to reconnect again.

A force user can hide themselves by lingering around places strong in the force or strong in the side of the force opposite their allegience, such as Yoda not only hiding on Dagobah which is a planet strong in the Force, but he lived around the corner from the Cave of Evil.

Not even the dawn of the disney era. it was inconsistent under Lucas and in the EU, too. Sensing Force sensitives is a plot device and overall works the same as ki sensing in dragon ball. Yes, they can sense each other, but they can also hide themselves in the force too through various means.

Hell yeah. Fyi you do not need to read HR to understand Acolyte at all. It has the era's aesthetics and themes and shit, but the plot is very disconnected from the plot of the books since its set like 100 years after the HR books. The only character from the HR books in Acolyte is Vernestra.

Same. Fingers crossed that we might see another HR show set earlier in the era's timeline or one in the clone wars art style. I suggest checking the first book of the era out btw. Its called Light of the Jedi. It made me feel like I was reading old EU books again in a good way.

Agreed and fortunately the high republic era has that same feeling of endless possibilities. The whole era starts like 600 years before phantom menace and shows what the jedi and republic are like after like 500 years of no Sith opposition. Its super cool and feels very EU

the only characters from the skywalker saga that could show up are basically just yarael poof and yoda. Everyone else is new. The trade federation also make an appearance in the first 15 mins but thats about it.

They arent. Dont give them clicks. There was an internal document from 2016 where they floated the idea. It never got past the "maybe" phase and it certainly never reached Steam. Ntm Gabe is ex-Microsoft. He made Valve specifically to get away from corporate structure. Doubt he'd sell, esp for 16b
