Looks like a massive win for Canada, for science, and for @supportourscience.bsky.social in the federal budget today. Big scholarship amount increases, looks like *number* of scholarships increases too!

Also seems to imply an end to the vanity-project Banting/Vanier scholarships - sure, they had brilliant recipients, but so do the regular scholarships and the two-tier system was a waste of $ IMO. 🧪
