grants to cover the majority of costs. And they never even considered it. And the line is crap. Our cable TV is not digital (too much noise) and can not handle riding the internet on top (too much noise again). I hate to say this, but I may actually go back to their internet service.

You know, once I see the actual fiber optic cable in the ground. Because that'll probably take at least a year. And without any evidence, I'm guessing the recent "rural broadband" government initiative (and more importantly, grant money) is behind this.
