Same, but despite never having used the site at all—I don't even think I ever even logged in when they announced it was created—I'll have you know I'm /already/ followed on Threads by TWO definitely-real-and-not-bot accounts over there! So, you know, I'm kind of a big deal on Threads already.

My IG is linked to my FB (which I never use these days). When Threads first launched, it didn't allow a FB account for login. I created another IG account to access it, which was soon flagged as inauthentic (because I did not use my real name on it). But yeah, Threads is garbage from what I saw.

i have 2 IG accounts (a public and a private) and i joined threads for ~48 hours with my public account then deleted my threads account because yuck; IG still tells my private IG account that my public IG account wants to follow my private IG account on threads bless the internet, never change
