Are you a shrill neo-Nazi who fancies yourself a “Mom4Liberty” or “GOP voter” and wants to ensure your kids are never exposed to stories about scary Black people and icky LGBTQ+ folks? Formerly educational publisher Scholastic has just the whitewashed book collection for you! tinyurl.com/s97p7r4f

While I’m 100% certain my school will opt in to all of the titles for our fair in early November, I’m going to recommend we contact Scholastic to comment on this. Appreciate you sharing.

Cowards. Scholastic should fight this, not roll over. They have the resources, the power. My Mum, a public school librarian, would’ve been apoplectic. Actually, she would’ve probably been fired by now. And might well be wherever aggravated souls hang out making a list of MAGA book-banners to haunt.

And when sales by certain authors or books on certain subjects don't do well Scholastic will use that to justify not publishing them. The book banners will have won by eliminating their problem at its source. Authoritarianism, fascism, puritanism, racism whatever you want to call it, call it evil.
