I'm partial to the zero width space, the most nefarious of all the Unicode code points.
Not sure if the complete absence of an actual glyph disqualifies it from consideration but finding a use for one is always a good time.

The more mundane an insult the harder it hits, even better if it's somewhat confusing.
If someone has sizes you up, thought through all their available options and finally settled on calling you a "Pizza Hut Delivery Moped" you'll be thinking about what they meant for the rest of your life.

Their trick was you only ever saw the one monkey cutely begging right up until the moment your snack is raining down around you like confetti!
You couldn't even be mad, just impressed at their technique and organizational skills.

Saw some monkeys in a tourist spot that had their scam down to a fine art.
One on the ground begs a tourist holding packet of chips. Their mark raises it above their head not realizing there's one up on the wall behind them. Chip packet gets ripped apart and suddenly 20 more appear from nowhere.

If you arent't from the US then you're probably more familiar with Australian Possum (more like sugar gliders).
"Hey, come check out this possum!" is a whole emotional roller coaster experience the first time it happens to you!

Yeah, forcing that one month (now 2 weeks) delay on their topical comedy podcast was an incredibly shitty choice to promote an app that nobody wants.
I really lost interest in listening to the Then Show or the Olds Quiz.

Do they know that it's too late to get on the ballot in some states and that the convention vote is basically just ceremonial this year?
Seems like if you're putting forward your very clever opinion that you want people to take seriously you should know the most basic of facts about the situation.

The hypocrisy is obvious when you compare their attitudes between tax and benefit fraud.
Investigating tax fraud generates revenue greater than its costs but the "fiscal responsibility" crowd are constantly fighting that form of means testing.

The sequel has you trying to escape the Fixit Rehabilitation Institute that houses the many that have failed their task.
Random thought, have you played Infra?
Seems like it would either be exceedingly relevant to your interests or the horror of work infiltrating even the escapism of video games.

If you haven't seen them there are cheap aftermarket ones that plug into the ODBII port.
They're just backwards LED displays that reflect off the windshield so not a true HUD. Most of them have that janky AliExpress look but they actually work surprisingly well.

I think the incredibly humbling experience of working with version control may be a factor.
When you've been cursing the author of a bit of code that's been causing you massive problems only for version control to reveal you are your own worst enemy.
Oh, that was me and now I remember the Reasons™

This is always really subjective.
If there's a refurbished office furniture store near you that's a great way to try out high quality chairs at reasonable prices.
They aren't as cheap but will likely last 3–5× as long as the consumer targeted ones.

We already had a perfectly good non-confusing name for bits per second and frankly having a Gigabaud internet connection sounds awesome.
I know that baud is technically different in ways that don't really matter anymore. That pedantry should be directed at people stealing 24 MB per GB they sell you

Flashback: C&C Red Alert taught me the meaning of the the word "contiguous".
"I've got 16MB free disk space, what the hell is this game's problem?"
I assume the definition came from a dictionary because that would have been quicker to use than waiting for a dialup connection to complete.

This is how small isolated decisions become a systemic problem. If it's harder for under-represented demographics to get a job then they'll spend longer in the jobs they have.
At pretty much every employer I know about the long tenured employees are most valuable and relatively the most under paid.

The catchphrase of the Senior Software Engineer is "it depends".
There's something incredibly humbling about the immediate feedback you get pushing software to the internet.
Futile efforts to represent the world in the absolute values of true or false is an excellent way to learn about gray areas.

Only thing I can think of would be if the usb-c power supply you're using is under powered (I think the stock Framework one is 60W) and the monitor's drawing enough to shut down other things.
If it can be powered independently that would rule it out as causing power issues.

Believe it or not there is a bunch of stuff going on behind the scenes with the mobile networks in the last couple of years to try and reduce text message spam.
Sadly it was started way too late, isn't a quick process, and political stuff tends to be exempt so you may not have noticed.

Collecting on a bill that bankrupts your customer is not a sustainable way to build recurring revenue so they can be surprisingly flexible in working these things out (but you have to know to ask).

Berwyn, IL now has three Metra stations on the BNSF line but Laverge (the first) gets the fewest trains stopping there. I like to think it's because there's still some institutional resentment over the whole situation.
