Is there any other functioning democracy today tat has a standard of "absolute immunity" for its head of state? I'm curious how our friends and allies around the world are going to perceive this.

I *think* the ruling British monarch is not personally subject to criminal law, but only because UK criminal law is still mostly common law and afaik the parliament has not explicitly said it binds the crown
