Anthrocon is usually the one everyone says "has its shit figured out", it's usually the conventions all the others are compared to. I think at some point we need to recognize that it's just a fuckton of people attending these conventions vs a handful of volunteers.

Even if that’s the case and this was a sudden unpredictable increase in attendance, the thing people are taking issue with is with is the badge check and the wasted money. They could have not checked badges for the night like other conventions have in the past.
