"Many recalled her rejecting joint motions – such as sentencing recommendations or requests to delay proceedings – even though there was no dispute between the two sides." That is a neon sign of a terrible judge. A good judge understands her job is to settle disputes *between* the parties.

Strikes me as someone obsessed with the idea of her own authority. Failure to understand the nature & sources of genuine authority is a super common trait among authoritarians.
