This is a subtweet about Frankenstein because I don't want to be a dick, but I also want some facts out there. 1. Most novels at the time were anonymous. We can't make definite judgements about why Mary Shelley's name wasn't on it. It was common practice. The novel was barely respectable. 1/?

One thing that happens is they don’t allow enough luggage space for the wheelchairs, realise they won’t fit, and turn the wheelchair users away, seats are available, but not luggage space, and they aren’t going to take someone off the flight who’s already seated. Wheelchair users always go on last.

Poor Maggie! It was about 500 meters to the car park, I weighed about 15 stone & had the large broken wheel on my lap. It took us both a week to recover. That was a few years ago, but I still regularly hear nightmare stories from wheelchair users, trying to use planes, trains & public transport!

The time they put it on the carousel instead of bringing it to the plane, we had to wait an hour until they found the guy & got him to unlock the lounge, only to find that it was broken, they wouldn’t let us take their chair out, so Maggie had to get me to the car in a chair with only 1 large wheel!

I’m usually pretty chill waiting in airports, as long as I’m not waiting for my wheelchair which they’ve accidentally put on a flight to Portugal, or Saudi Arabia, or Japan. Or left it on the luggage carousel, locked the room and gone home. You know apart from that.

1. I saw almost every episode of Doctor Who, from the 1st William Hartnell, to the last Tom Baker, missed a few while in hospital. Thing is only heard the theme tune 3 times. Why? I hear you ask, well I’ll tell you. As soon as the music started, my sister had a seizure, and another at the end.
