I AM going to need FromSoftware to be quite a bit more direct about their lore/storytelling, because going into the DLC I was really curious about what we were going to learn and had some questions I was hoping we'd get the answers to and there wasn't anything that I picked up on the way

He's basically just going to have to do a segmented no-hit run, melee only, no items. This started because he was fighting Radahn and a chatter said "It'sdbe easier if you leveled vigor up a bit more" so he respecced to no Vigor. Imagine having that much power over someone's life.

Re: your first point, it's incredible to look at the popularity trend for the name 'Hillary', it was surging (peaking at 0.14%) and got ethered when she came on the scene in 1992/1993. Also, note 2008 & 2016. This doesn't happen w/ other politicians names.

I'm not really watching Dan Gheesling's right now. I moreso "check in" and see how it's going, until he gets past this boss which he's stuck on because he has like no Scadutree Blessings and has committed to not leveling up his health at all and is only using a big 2-handed weapon w/ no spirit ashes

I'm "watching" two Elden Ring DLC playthroughs (though not past where I am), Day9 and Dan Gheesling. They could not be more different. Day9 has explored methodically and easily felled the first two bosses w/ his super armor big shield build. Dan went straight to Rellana and has tried her 1000 times.

Apparently the "scadu" in "Scadutree" is an old way to spell "shadow" which is a ridiculous choice imo because the setting for the DLC is the Lands of Shadow #EldenRing

Rellana phase 1 I blocked and parried my way through. After some tries at phase 2 and learning how to dodge her big attacks I said "f this" and summoned my Mimic Tear to tank while I hucked rocks. I did base Elden Ring w/o summoning for bosses but her phase 2 wasn't hard in a FUN way for me

Spellcasting isn't my preferred way to solve problems, I prefer to get in melee and dodge and parry, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

Nothing in Elden Ring is as fun as Stone of Gurranq. Are there better spells? Probably. But do they have you rip a boulder out of the ground and huck it at your enemy's dome? No!
