If you use that (or raw powdered citric acid) I would start a normal cycle with the high-temp wash, wait until you hear the dispenser open, then open the door and put say a half-cup of it in there. Maybe even a full cup. That should take care of a lot.

thank you so much! that’s perfect. wasn’t sure if the “natural alternative” blog posts etc were legit about this working, or if it was a “vinegar and baking soda” type myth! unfortunately gluten has “ETHOXYLATED” stuff in it which is an issue (i seem to be allergic to the root, ethylene oxide) 🤪
