I never read his comics, pretty much, but enjoyed the tv shows enough. He had a fan base bordering on the religious & I’ve already seen a threat of violence & then others saying basically but women lie”. It seems all over the place here, & strangely much calmer on Twitter.

I’m pretty forgiving of “social crimes” as the world will always have assholes & they can learn the error of their ways. But sexual assault is serious & criminal. Jesus Christ, I don’t know what to think about the Gaiman stuff I just read. Already seen threats of violence against him on bluesky.

Yeah you mean the actual employees then 😉 ( cos to me the team is all the freelancers really! ) The employee is the only one who should be looking out for the corporations interest. It’s where we find out if they want human artists to die professionally.

I don’t think the writer or interior artist ( assuming this guy is just an “illustrator” & doesn’t actually do comic work on this one? ) should have any problems. They usually have no idea about what random covers are on their work sadly.

It’s like, we all fuck up. None of us are perfect. This guy seriously fucked up ethically. He needs to stop using any digital for work, & use real paint, if he’s allowed to be a pro by the rest of us again I reckon. But forgiveness needs to be a thing, after punishment.

This is what should make you a “bad person” in comics, just as much as who you sleep withor DM, or be a drunk idiot ( which you should also be forgiven for & move on from eventually if not crime committed ) But this gets a free pass from editors & the gossip class of crusaders. We can do better.

I’m 6ft. But this very nice lady was incredibly tiny. Like, unnervingly small, but completely proportionate. So it’s a bit of an optical illusion. I am incredibly average, everywhere, in all ways. 😂

I might come back when I have some decent stuff, but I had real work, & alas Whatnot became too much of a time sink vs paying its way. Things really seemed to collapse, revenue wise for a lotta folks, & I was only ever a part timer. But I’ll be back.

Indeed! I only do those at shows. ( can’t trust the paper sometimes & you gotta bring em to me etc ) I think they’re $300, fully painted ( I don’t do just pencils/inks etc ) Hope to see you there!
