they always are. I'm somewhat heartened that diving and the excessive displays of life-ending injury (only to pop up moments later) seem to have lessened the past several years, but not go away completely these days, diving seems to be more rampant in South American teams than in Europe

Yes, I understand that. There are other countries that do things differently, such as government-funded elections where funds are distributed equally, and the campaign itself is shortened to just a few months or less Wishing we could evolve to something similar

Long ago, Republicans recognized that their ideas and policies were becoming increasingly unpopular But they also learned that the way around it, was to: 1) seed the Judiciary, particularly SCOTUS, with true believers, and 2) buy press and media outlets to push pure BS drowned via repetition
