Despite later refutation & UK NICE recomms changing in 2015 that HRT be offered more widely & with less emphasis on restricting treatment to 5 years, the negative view of HRT lingers on. I don’t intend stopping any time soon if I can help it! 2/2

Yes! Sadly the effect of the flawed 2002 Women’s Health Initiative study into the safety of HRT has cast long shadows. The study showed HRT had more detrimental than beneficial effects & usage plummeted, exacerbated by scarey media headlines 1/2
