I had to cancelled the dentist appointment because no-one is now protecting themselves or others from Covid. Yes, in part that I'd government responsibility. But calling around nearly 2 dozen practices, I am met with defensiveness & indifference. People and their attitude are to blame just as much.

This is old news from 1 month ago that is again making the rounds. People from the IT scene have looked but can't find any current plans. They recently sent me a warning for hate speech (😇), and I think it was DM exchanges about bluesky they were punishing w/o wanting to say so. Because honestly...

Vielen Dank, ich habe leider auch kein Feedback bekommen. Es bleibt mir wohl nur, zu googeln & einen Zahnarzt nach dem anderen abzutelefonieren. Es ist belastend, denn die meisten Praxen reagieren verständnislos & fühlen sich angegriffen. Aber es geht nicht anders... Vielem Dank für deine Hilfe. 🤗

My dentist does, too, during treatment, but none of the staff, there's no air filter, no testing, no open window. We've a huge Covid wave, currently 10% of people are ill, & these are just the ones we know of w/o blanket testing. And it's 2 days after Xmas where more will have caught it.

I've no choice, I cancelled tomorrow's dentist appointment. Even during this wave they're not willing to protect me beyond masking during the treatment. No testing, masks in the practice, air filter. They wish me well, though & hope we manage to get through this time. Cheers.

Im Werbeblättchen ein langes Interview zu Long Covid, welches das KEM Essen jetzt mit einer speziellen Sprechstunde im Bereich Naturmedizin behandelt, um die Selbstheilung zu befördern, allerdings nur für Selbstzahler. Ist aber nicht schlimm, sind eh meist nur Frauen betroffen.

Every year, this little tree in a forest is decorated for all who walk past to enjoy. After Xmas, the decorations are taken down & the tree patiently stands & waits until it's time again... Isn't this a wonderful idea!? I think I'm going to have to find my own little tree.
