If you don't want to move that's fair, moving sucks. But you should advocate to let more people move near transit. The details of the buildings barely matter when the alternative is a hundred household living thirty plus miles away

If you live close to stuff in a smallish home you honestly don't have to really think about how much carbon you're using. Unless you're flying every weekend or something you're using much less than the people who live 25 miles outside of the city and drive ten miles to get a coffee.
