If you live close to stuff in a smallish home you honestly don't have to really think about how much carbon you're using. Unless you're flying every weekend or something you're using much less than the people who live 25 miles outside of the city and drive ten miles to get a coffee.

For comparison, this is how an ice compares to an EV with low emissions charging. Average mileage is between 8 and 20,000 km a year. Flying is awful, and a minority dominate the flying emissions. 70% of flights were taken by 15% of people in the UK.

This is hugely wrong. Yes, home size and location matter a lot, but rich-world people in modestly sized homes who drive ICE cars are generating far too much CO2 for the health of the planet. Everyone needs to minimise their carbon emissions. And flights matter a lot, even if they’re not weekly.
