A guy I went school with told me when he was a kid, his sister was interning at a record company and she brought Joan Jett back to his family's apartment. Standing in the living room, she saw his spelling bee trophy on the mantel. She said 'Spelling is Important.' Cool!

I asked, and? He said, I was 12, an adult seemed impressed with me, I felt great. I've been telling this story for like 37 years. Haven't talked to Joe in 35 years. His story lives on.
