And several smaller parties+independents also working across 50 states to soften the power of two giant parties, to reduce extremism. But its a multi year long task. But good! (Common Sense party, No Labels party, Forward party) Forward already has candidates in over a dozen states.

In first-past-the-post, third parties are a scam, and their behavior reveals it. Working Families (as an exception) has the correct method to address this, by leveraging existing Dem candidates where appropriate. The first step to a proper solution is multiple voting (or, I guess, ranked choice).
