When there's a Dem president liberals are like "the president CAN'T [good thing he campaigned on]." Now the SC is like "the president can do whatever lol [rattles tip jar]" and liberals are still on their "if you expect the president to help anything, you're a child who wants a pony" spiel.

Or the occupant of the office pointing to, i.e., Stephen Miller and saying, "hey, you, Nosferatu-looking motherfucker, whatever your name is, get this done" so they 'deputize' some of their neo-Nazi friends as 'official agents' and then it's off to the race war.

I kinda feel like now that the Supreme Court has declared it legal for a president to straight-up murder people they don't like, it's probably even more important to not elect people who seem extremely inclined to murder people they don't like

My general sense is that normal people out in the world don't know anyone who has been *persuaded* to vote for Trump that was not already an ardent Trump supporter.
At worst there are people mad at Biden for <reasons> but people I run into seem to still think he'll win anyway.

What is Biden prepared to do when this same supreme court starts sticking its oligarch-stained fingers into every election in the country?
They're going to be closing polling places, voiding ballots, purging voter rolls, generally doing everything they possibly can to see their emperor crowned.

In first-past-the-post, third parties are a scam, and their behavior reveals it.
Working Families (as an exception) has the correct method to address this, by leveraging existing Dem candidates where appropriate.
The first step to a proper solution is multiple voting (or, I guess, ranked choice).

They should never again enjoy a public moment of peace.
They like oligarchs; they should move in with them and fuck off from the civilization they hate so much.

The same supreme court trying to create an imperial presidency is not going to hesitate to edit all the laws to put their preferred emperor in power.
They seem convinced people will just put up with it again.

I look forward to Biden ordering the assets of various billionaires to be seized, as they present a threat to the security of the nation.
Or for the executives of the pollution cartel to be imprisoned and the company's assets commandeered for public management.
Voiding all student debt, period.

Roberts and the other wizard-kings are a threat to the security of the republic and the safety of its citizens.

Their demonstrated subject matter incompetence (among other deficiencies) renders the whole opinion void.
Everyone should disregard it and go back to whatever they were doing. Ideally the agencies should do *more* enforcement, starting with the supreme court's highest-level donors.

Amazed at the quantity of disinformed people who think a pregnant person magically stops needing medical care at the 7th month or something.

They think it would, but, really, would it?
What's the market for Yet More Coverage of the thing every normal person never wanted to happen, and especially wanted to be *over* in 2021? MAGA chuds aren't going to subscribe to a newspaper.

There it is: A position completely untethered from empirical evidence, as ridiculous analytically as it is dangerous politically, propagated by anti-liberal leftwing intellectuals who are solely animated by their disdain for “the Libs” and have abandoned any regard for accuracy.

And Trump is manifestly more infirm than any example they can produce for Biden.
They are just desperate to pretend Trump isn't also old and isn't obviously way more decrepit than Biden.

She's terrific!
But she also didn't run and wasn't on any ballot and didn't get any votes. None of those people had their name anywhere near a slot on a ballot.

Are you *sure* it didn't work?
We still don't know what happened after that. The books are yet to be written!
The latter half of 1968 is an unknowable future.
(I assume all the opinion writers anymore live in vaults underground somewhere, delivering their weird missives via pneumatic tube.)

This is one of the reasons they keep trying to erase history: So their own followers don't learn they always lose in the end.

The pundits will continue harping on "Biden's old" while ignoring Trump is also old, and also that Trump is disqualified from office for trying to murder congress, his own vice president, and the republic.
At this point I'm voting for Biden to spite them and I hope he dumps them in the Newsmax bin.
