The shitshow I would have been spared if mama had just let me start in 1st when they kindergarten teacher recommended it. (Got an abusive new teacher that year and mama ended up threatening to sue)

I am so sorry you had to deal with that. You did dodge a different bullet, though: I skipped a grade and spent the rest of my K-12 years with inadequate social skills because I was too young to be in whatever grade I was in. It was a nightmare. Basically we can’t win ✨
