i mean the point of this is that i'm not a CRT scholar and would not identify myself as someone who does "CRT"

Athletic teams from other colleges visit AL -- and FL, TX, LA, etc. -- all the time. When they do, they should take their own academic advisors with them and do pre-game teach-ins. See also the NAACP's recent call for Black athletes to decline offers from Florida schools where DEI is prohibited.
