It's also a reason they love Christian private schools/homeschooling: you can deprive young people of any accurate reproductive health info. As a homeschooled kid who didn't get health classes or sex ed, I didn't learn about these sorts of pregnancy health risks until adulthood.

Yep. Women are sold this Hallmark movie idea of a perfectly smooth and painless pregnancy, when the reality is *so* much can go wrong at any point, and being able to terminate an unviable pregnancy is *essential* for treating most of those things if the miscarriage can’t pass on its own.
