This is FTTP on steroids. Don't get me wrong, I welcome Labour to power and think they'll be a better choice for the UK and the world. But 1/3 of the vote getting you nearly 2/3 of the seats is... it feels wrong somehow. Even if I like the result.

Tomorrow is the fourth. If America weren't great, we wouldn't care about keeping it. I love that our country is truly multiracial, all of us have "American" names, we care a lot less about class than other countries (in my work, this means lots of 1st gen students indistinguishable from the rest)

There's a place in northern Washington called Skagit County, pronounced "Skah-JIHT" with a soft blend between the syllables, but when I first saw it I said "SKAG-it!" "SKAG-it" ought to be that little guy's name. No disrespect intended to the good people of the real Skagit County, Washington.
