Stop putting autistic kids in excessive therapy hours. Research indicates that more/more intense therapies are not better, and that "practitioners recommending interventions should consider what amounts would be developmentally appropriate." Our kids need down time!

I think we’ve ceded enough ground to what practitioners think. It’s time the real experts, adult Autists, weigh in. If their therapy takes longer than soccer practice each week, you might consider that the therapist doesn’t know what they’re doing.
