LOL I just looked up a book and the library has marked its Status as "non-fiction" i.e. not available or in bindery or on hold or whatever. No its currently "non-fiction" but that could change perhaps it will become fiction, or audio-visual material later??

I am fascinated by this aspect of power that it amplifies everything about a person even if its unrelated to why they are powerful (e.g. I get exposed to Elon Musk's memes). And we're all imperfect so the "greater" we are the more of our flaws are amplified and "bad" we become.

I could get music - but for a long time I struggled to understand how speakers could produce the complexities of human speech? Then I kinda realized I was giving speech special treatment! It's all just patterns of bunched up air in the end!

You right - people have been anxious AF for a while. Even at baseline we prefer simple/clear information, but when distressed things become "if you're not with me you're against me" except for this topic it comes across as "I will literally attack nuance" This is why anxiety sucks all the things
