March 13th. I was playing hooky from work and decided to use my mug club discount at one of the local brewpubs for lunch and a beer since I figured they could use the business (Nashua had slowly become a ghost town as the confusion began and the toilet paper dwindled).

While I was eating the chef came out from the back, poured himself a glass of whiskey (which I know is a no-no while you’re on the job) & walked back to the kitchen again while shaking his head. They had just got the call from the governor’s office to shut down for 4 weeks. It started to hit then.
