Modern democrats acting as if the Republican party is even slightly guilty of THEIR crimes of Jim Crow, using bull whips, and firehoses to control the black vote is deeply disgusting. This newspaper clipping is from the 15 Oct 1932 Chicago Defender a paper by & for black people.

Be honest, Southern DEMOCRATS have a very long history of trying hard to not let blacks (or latinos) vote. My dad, was threatened by members of the KKK for trying to register Latinos to vote Republican in the 1960s in El Paso Texas. Him standing next to Senator Tower, whom he campaigned for.
