I'm a firm believer that it's never too late to fix something, it's just a matter of how much work you're willing to put in to fix it! In this case, it's the brightness/ contrast sliders that comes standard with clip studio! Brightness to change your key and contrast to change your range!

You can also use (even multiple) tonal correction layers to get reversible edits of your piece, and masking to get those edits to only apply to certain parts of your piece for even more control. The levels editor will let you squish and stretch different value ranges different amounts too!
